Hip Flexors Stretch Lying Down
Our hip flexors get tight during daily activities like walking and sitting.
As an antidote, learning how to release them before performing Pilates exercises is a skill everyone should master.
Stretching, strengthening, and releasing hip flexors will improve the health of your hip joints.
So ask your teacher to teach you release you hip flexors wherever you take your Pilates.
Since everyone’s range of motion (ROM) in the hips is different, we do this stretch in my studio three different ways:
Foot on top of the thigh
Foot against the thigh
Foot under the thigh.
Try all of them and see which one works for you 😊
